There are no MLS fees, no board dues, and no E&O insurance costs when you're affiliated as a referral-only agent. Your state still requires license renewal fees and any continuing education as set by DPOR. The annual membership fee is handled when you join, you'll see it on the onboarding page.

It depends on the referral fee agreed to and the split in your Independent Contractor Agreement. Standard referral fees run 25 to 35% of the gross commission, sometimes higher or lower depending on the deal. Once Referrals by BPRE receives the referral fee, your portion is disbursed within 3 days.
Any licensed agent, at any brokerage, in any state. You complete a referral form that connects your client to the agent you choose. You make the connection and they run the deal. Referrals by BPRE handles the referral agreement and your payout.
Yes. Your license is active even though you're not in production, so every Virginia licensee completes continuing education and renewals as required by DPOR.
Yes. If you're buying or selling your own home, you can structure the deal as a referral and receive a referral fee, the same way you would for any other client.
Yes. Alongside residential, we accept commercial referrals and place them with experienced commercial agents. Commercial often means a larger commission, which means a larger check for you.
Yes, when the receiving agent is willing to pay a referral fee. Some will and some won't, since rental commissions are smaller. Even so, a rental referral builds goodwill and often leads to a future buyer or seller down the road.
You may identify yourself as affiliated with Referrals by BPRE, LLC in line with Virginia DPOR advertising rules. All marketing includes the brokerage name, and promotions should be reviewed for compliance. We provide guidance and templates to make it simple.
No. This is a referral-only affiliation, so no MLS or association dues are required.
Not under this affiliation. Your role is to refer, not to list, show, advertise, or negotiate. If you want full production later, your active license makes moving to a full brokerage a simple transfer.
